The Renovation Cleaner is responsible for ensuring that renovated and newly furnished short-term rental units are thoroughly cleaned and presentable before guest onboarding. This role focuses on post-renovation cleaning, dust and debris removal, and detailed finishing to meet the company's cleanliness and hospitality standards. The Renovation Cleaner plays a key role in transforming renovated properties into comfortable, guest-ready spaces.
Key Responsibilities
Post-Renovation Cleaning
Perform deep cleaning of renovated units including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and wiping surfaces.
Remove construction dust, paint marks, adhesive residues, and other renovation debris.
Clean windows, doors, glass panels, fixtures, and fittings.
Detailed Unit Preparation
Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch areas to meet hygiene standards.
Ensure furniture, fixtures, and appliances are clean and ready for use.
Assist in arranging furniture, decor, and linen to prepare the unit for guest readiness.
Waste & Material Management
Properly dispose of renovation waste and ensure sites are left clean and safe.
Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good condition.
Report damages, defects, or incomplete works to the site coordinator or renovation supervisor.
Collaboration & Support
Work closely with renovation workers, site coordinators, and interior designers to ensure timely project handover.
Assist in last-minute touch-ups or quick cleaning tasks before guest check-ins.
Support ad-hoc cleaning needs for existing operational units when required.
Requirements
Prior experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or renovation cleaning preferred.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and proper handling procedures.
Physically fit and able to handle manual cleaning tasks.
Attention to detail with a strong sense of cleanliness and hygiene.
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Cleanliness rating of units upon project handover.
Timeliness of cleaning tasks completed.
Compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
Feedback from site coordinators and operations team on cleaning quality.
Responsiveness to urgent cleaning needs.
