The Inventory Analyst ensures optimal product availability across stores to support sales growth and maintain balanced stock levels. This role involves analysing data, forecasting demand, and managing stock allocations to minimise out-of-stocks and maximise sell-through. It also delivers regular and ad-hoc analysis to the Buying and Planning teams, leveraging insights from multiple systems and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor daily and weekly sales and inventory reports to identify replenishment requirements.
Allocate new product launches to stores according to launch priorities and store performance grades.
Review and adjust replenishment settings (minimum and maximum levels) in response to sales trends.
Identify slow-moving inventory and propose corrective actions.
Contribute to pre-season planning by providing historical inventory and sales insights.
Compile and present weekly allocation and inventory performance updates to the Business Planner.
Liaise with the Distribution Centre and warehouse teams to monitor stock availability and inbound shipments.
Maintain system accuracy by verifying on-hand quantities and resolving stock discrepancies.
