The Role: Representative III, Inside Sales

The Location: Penang, Malaysia

What\'s In It For You?: This role has responsibility for growth of sales for subscription and retail (hardcopy and PDF) for Engineering Solutions. In addition, this role also has responsibility for the management of a number of existing customer accounts ensuring monthly and annual sales targets are met or exceeded. Accountability for driving revenue growth across the business line to meet or exceed expectations, including identification of revenue drivers and metrics to focus on increasing account volume, profit and penetration. Develop/implement a clear strategy to exceed quota. Plan and implement account plans for your accounts to achieve agreed sales/renewal and growth quotas. Prepare and submit sales/activity reports as required. Monitoring performance-to-plan throughout the execution year and adjusting direction, focus and sales initiatives as needed to deliver volume commitments. Develop knowledge of Engineering Solutions products and capabilities. Understanding the solution sales cycle and challenges, including the strategies of competitors, and leveraging this knowledge to hone sales strategies. Making outbound calls/activities for prospecting.

Your Team: You will be working in the Inside Sales, Engineering Solutions team based in Penang, Malaysia. Our expanding APAC Inside Sales team requires a highly motivated Inside Sales Representative. The successful applicant will be responsible for renewing and up selling our Engineering Solutions portfolio into accounts with a focus on Australia, New Zealand & Singapore territories.

The objective of the role is to successfully manage an existing book of subscription business through regular contact and excellent customer service. To grow the existing revenue through exploring new opportunities within an organization and to pursue new logo opportunities through marketing and self-generating activity.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years\' experience preferred of managing end to end sales for New and Renewal business.
  • Confident & self-motivated with a passion for selling.
  • A quick learner on new products and sales approaches.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, CRM, etc.)
  • Ability to analyze business opportunities, develop effective sales strategies and close business.
  • Ability to develop account and territory plans to achieve penetration and grow revenue.
  • Ability to conduct effective presentations to all levels of clients.
  • Highly organized and efficient at managing day to day business with multiple priorities. Must be able to work independently, take initiative to resolve tasks with a can-do attitude and have a financial analytical mindset
  • Self-Motivated
Important Qualification:
  • You need to be able to work on-site 5 days a week.
  • Amenable to work APAC or Dayshift.
