Position Overview:

passionate about skincare innovation? Join our growing R&D team at The Raw International and help us develop high-performing cosmetic products that inspire confidence and deliver real results! This role requires a strategic leader with extensive pharmaceutical knowledge, a passion for dermatological science, and a track record in product development and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development

: To support and assist the R&D team in formulation development, prototype testing, and optimization of new skincare and cosmetic products in collaboration with OEM and raw material suppliers.

Market Research:

Stay ahead of trends, ingredients, and consumer needs to fuel product ideation and ensure market relevance.

Product Evaluation:

Monitor and evaluate the commercial performance and consumer feedback of newly launched products; identify areas for improvement or innovation. Work closely with Marketing and E-Commerce departments to gather data and consumer insights on existing and newly launched products.

Quality & Regulatory Assurance

: Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and product safety assessment (e.g., NPRA, HALAL, ASEAN Cosmetic Directive, INCI standards). Involvement in product registration in Quest NPRA and regulatory compliance assurance.

Training & Education:

Develop educational materials and conduct training sessions for internal and external teams on skin anatomy, skincare science, product benefits, and usage guidance

Qualifications:

Minimum Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Cosmetic Science, or any related field. 3-5 years of experience as a pharmacist or hands-on experience in skincare/cosmetic product formulation or the pharmaceutical industry. Strong knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, formulation processes, skin physiology and regulatory compliance. Ability to interpret data and consumer insights to inform product development strategies. Smart, detail-oriented, with a strong interest in education, and able to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
