The team leader is responsible and accountable for efficient management of World-Check operations, which includes: allocation of work, management of resources, supervising quality of reports and team results. Handling risk relevant content in the World-Check database! This role will report to the Risk Manager.Role ResponsibilityIdentifying coverage gaps through regular audit sessionsEnsuring the timely completion of research projects by the research teamMotivating and developing the team in a measurable wayCommunicating and coordinating the research team\xe2\x80\x99s progressDeveloping new strategies to enable research team to better meet research goalsWorking on Ad hoc tasks assigned by the Research ManagerProvide support to knowledge building and knowledge sharingSupports in performance managementEngage in knowledge sharingMentoring and coaching team membersCompetencies/Skills requiredExcellent written and verbal communication in EnglishProficient in Mandarin (the role requires managing stakeholders and team members who communicate in this language on daily basis)Able to proofread and ask relevant questions to ensure qualityDemonstrate strong leadership skills and interpersonal skillsTake initiative to suggest ideas and implement themProblem solvingStrong research and analytical abilities with attention to detailHigh level of organization and multi-taskingMust be proficient with MS Office and working in an online environmentExperience in due diligence industry will be an added advantageExcellent organising skillsDomain knowledge and client interactionsEducational and Professional ExperienceUndergraduate degree or equivalent in International Relations, Political Science or other related field. Outstanding candidates from other fields will also be considered.3 years of relevant working experience in a related field is preferred.This role is on blended work model, with 3 days working on the office and 2 days working remotely.
