We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Officer to join our growing team at new clinic in Bayan Lepas. The ideal candidate is patient-oriented, clinically competent, and passionate about delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care in a modern general practice setting. Candidates who perform well will be considered for profit-sharing opportunities and leadership positions as the clinic group expands.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

Evaluate patient symptoms, diagnose medical conditions, and prescribe or administer appropriate treatments.

Provide consultations, interpret diagnostic and health screening results, and advise patients on treatment plans.

Educate and counsel patients on preventive healthcare, wellness, and disease management.

Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), medical ethics, and regulatory standards.

Collaborate closely with nurses, administrative staff, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and efficient patient care.

Accurately record all diagnoses, medications, treatments, and consultations in patient records.

Operational & Administrative Responsibilities

Assist in the setup of a new branch, including facility preparation, service planning, and process standardization.

Support the application for corporate and insurance panelship (e.g., HealthMetrics, MiCare, PMCare, etc.).

Liaise with regulatory bodies and suppliers for licensing, medical equipment, and clinical operations setup.

Participate in marketing or community health initiatives to promote clinic visibility and patient growth.

Perform other ad-hoc or managerial tasks as assigned by the Clinic Director or Management.

Requirements

Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.

Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and holds a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).

Completion of housemanship and internship, with at least 2 years of post-registration clinical experience in a general practice or private clinic setting.

Strong clinical acumen and diagnostic skills.

Good understanding of private clinic operations and panelship processes is an advantage.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage patients and staff professionally.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Willing to work on rotational or evening shifts when required.

Reliably commute to main branch which is in Bayan Lepas area locale

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
