1. Job Summary
The Resident Doctor is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients, ensuring high-quality clinical standards, and supporting the smooth daily operations of the clinic. This role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of medical conditions, with a strong emphasis on patient safety, communication, and professional ethics.
2. Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Care
Conduct patient consultations, physical examinations, and detailed medical assessments.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses.
Prescribe medications and treatments according to current clinical guidelines.
Provide emergency care and stabilize patients when required.
Perform minor procedures (e.g., wound care, suturing, nebulization, drainage).
Review laboratory results, imaging, and other investigations; explain findings to patients.
Document all patient encounters accurately and promptly in the medical record system.
Patient Management
Provide health education, preventive care advice, and follow-up management.
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and families.
Ensure patient confidentiality and uphold ethical medical standards.
Clinic Operations
Support daily clinic operations including patient flow, triaging, and clinical efficiency.
Work closely with nurses, assistants, and administrative staff.
Participate in maintaining clinic cleanliness, safety, and infection control standards.
Assist in stock management of medications and medical supplies.
Professional Development
Attend CME sessions, training, or workshops when required.
Stay updated with medical guidelines, MOH standards, and best clinical practices.
Participate in discussions or case reviews with the clinic management.
3. RequirementsQualifications
MBBS / MD or equivalent from a recognized university.
Valid APC and full MMC registration.
BLS/ACLS certification (preferred).
Experience
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in hospital or primary care setting (preferred).
New graduates with strong clinical exposure are also encouraged to apply.

Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic ability.
Excellent communication and patient-handling skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Compassionate, responsible, and committed to patient care.
Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays (if required).
4. Working Hours
Shift-based / Regular hours depending on clinic schedule.
