Key Responsibilities:Leading the site supervision team in supervising the overall civil & structural construction works to ensure compliance with approved construction drawings and technical specification. Maintenance of robust records of all inspections undertaken to support the completion of the Project Record and to underpin contractor payments. Providing on-site support to Site Engineers, Land Surveyors and Safety Engineers as requested.s:

• Responsible as Consultant\'s Resident Engineer at project sites to execute, coordinate and monitor the quality of the site construction works of all civil and structural works.
• To support administration of the Inspection Request process ensuring requests are processed and inspections properly documented within pre-defined timescales
• To check and ensure the compliances of the Contractor\'s Works according to Construction Drawings, Specifications, approved Method Statement, approved Shop Drawing, Contract etc.
• Give signature on relevant RFI (Request For Inspection) once task is completed to satisfaction and specification, otherwise comment accordingly.
• Issue Non-Comformance Report (NCR) when necessary and ensure that all the items in the NCR & all defects are rectified on time. Carry out further inspections to ensure that the work is completed and comply to the requirement.
• Carry out final check on formworks, temporary staging / support, steel reinforcement, measurement and all related standards accordingly prior to and following of any concrete casting.
• To assist in developing and maintaining a proactive safety culture and incorporate safety observations into daily inspection activity
• To monitor construction progress against approved design and applicable standards - this infers a broad surveillance role beyond specifically undertaking inspections on request
• Monitor project delivery against agreed baseline schedules and report to the consultants team and client.
• To assist the project team of engineers/project managers in the implementation, monitoring and control of the quality of the project
• To monitor closely and take prompt action on drawing/documents discrepancies and liaise with the project team/consultant to resolve all arising technical issues
• Verify actual critical work and site conditions to consultant to solve and avoid discrepancies in drawing design & actual site situations.
• Responsible in preparing and maintaining all site reports/project documents in good order at all time
• To update and verify all as-built technical drawings in good form
• Coordinate with supervision team in attending/witness the material testing i.e. concrete cube test, rebar tensile test etc. and keep record of the test result.
• Check & verify all progress report issued by main contractor and all related documents for progress claim.

• Candidate must be registered engineer / registered Professional Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia
• Minimum 10 years working experience in site supervision of construction. Prior experience in civil and structural for mixed use high-rise residential projects will be an added advantage
• Required Skill(s): Ms Office, Ms Project, Auto Cad
• Required language: Bahasa Malaysia & English
• Applicants must be willing to work at project site located in Jalan Kuching, Kuala Lumpur
• Highly dedicated, proactive, good interpersonal/communication skill, responsible and team-focused
• Able to read and interpret all the information from the drawings, bill of quantities and specifications, verify with consultant where unclear. Propose correction and request additionaldetails where appropriate.
