Job Description
RESIDENT ENGINEER ELECTRICAL (S&I Urban Designers, Kuching)
Job Summary
Responsible for supervising and monitoring all electrical works at site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and inspect electrical installation works at site Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, and regulations Monitor contractor performance, progress, and quality of work Review shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client on electrical matters Attend site meetings and prepare basic progress reports Ensure electrical works are carried out safely and according to HSE requirements Oversee testing and commissioning of electrical systems
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) - preferred Experience in electrical works supervision at construction sites Knowledge of Malaysian electrical standards and safety regulations Good communication and coordination skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
