Job Description

Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Maintenance

Either using 1. Windows Server & VMware Virtual Environment) or 2. Linux Server Maintenance (Physical & Virtual)

Troubleshoot and resolve system issues across physical and virtual environments. Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies. Apply operating system patches and updates to maintain system integrity. Perform firmware upgrades for servers and related hardware. Configure and harden systems to meet security standards and compliance requirements.

Hardware Maintenance

Conduct comprehensive maintenance of physical server hardware, including diagnostics and part replacement. Perform firmware and microcode upgrades to ensure hardware compatibility and performance. Manage hardware installation, configuration, and migration activities.

Software Maintenance

Apply OS-level patches and security updates across Microsoft and VMware platforms. Implement and maintain secure system configurations, addressing vulnerabilities and compliance requirements. Monitor server capacity and execute remediation activities to ensure optimal resource utilization.

Requirements:

VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV) or equivalent Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server or equivalent Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or equivalent Red Hat certification or equivalent Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure support. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology, Science & Technology or equivalent. Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia. Able to work extra hours, independently, full responsibility and with minimum supervision. Possess a valid driving license. Applicants must be willing to work in Cyberjaya or Shah Alam.
