Resident Engineer
Job Description
Based in Roban, Betong Division Sarawak;\xc2\xb7 Candidate must possess at least Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university\xc2\xb7 A Registered Engineer with BEM\xc2\xb7 Not more than 23 years of working experience in road/bridges works\xc2\xb7 Preferably Senior Engineer specialized in Civil/Structural/Construction or equivalentResponsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Lead the supervision team\xc2\xb7 Liaise with Design office\xc2\xb7 Ensuring that works on site are in accordance to the design intent\xc2\xb7 Reviewing of construction or contract drawings for constructability\xc2\xb7 To liaise with contractor to develop Quality Assurance Plan for Senior Design Engineer\xe2\x80\x99s approval\xc2\xb7 Implement the approved QAP and to advise on its improvement from time to time\xc2\xb7 To verify as-built drawings and documentation, contractor\xe2\x80\x99s progress claims (physical & financial), PTIVO and EOT\xc2\xb7 Review Contractor\xe2\x80\x99s work program from time to time\xc2\xb7 Review and advise Senior Engineer on contractor\xe2\x80\x99s method statements and shop drawings\xc2\xb7 Attend or conduct technical meeting with contractor\xc2\xb7 Attend or conduct site meeting and meeting with client\xc2\xb7 Coordinate with utilities on service relocation
