Job Description

Duties and responsibilities:

1) Provide a 24 hours continuous on-site medical support service to meet the needs of patients, consultants and nursing staff. This includes emergency procedures and providing a general service to all clinical areas.

2) Communicate and consult with the Chief Medical Officer/Specialist in the provision of safe and quality care whenever appropriate.

3) Perform clinical procedures as requested by consultant and nursing staff, these may include phlebotomy and the giving of intravenous drugs to patients.

4) Involve patient and relatives in the treatment plan provide progressive updates on the need for admission, transfer, discharge of the patient.

5) Visit inpatients as required at the request of the nursing staff after consultation with the relevant consultants.

6) Attend immediately and carry out cardio-pulmonory resuscitation and other emergency procedures as per hospital policy.

7) Record all treatments performed in the emergency department / patient notes. Ensure completeness and accuracy of prescription, medical records and forms before the patients are discharged or admitted.

Pay: From RM7,000.00 per month
