Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Degree, Advanced Degree.
Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, optionally Mandarin.

Responsibility
The Restaurant Assistant Manager plans, organizes and direct the operations of the outlet to provide dining and catering services.
Tasks include -
Always striving to achieve and exceed sales and profit performance in accordance to budget
Planning and organizing special functions
Jointly responsible with Project Department to assist in the opening of new outlets
Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
Ensuring that dining, kitchen and food storage facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service
Hiring and selecting staff, setting staff work schedules, and training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff
Taking reservations, greeting guests and assisting in taking orders
Negotiating arrangements with clients and suppliers
Liaising and coordinating with the various functional department / support services to implement operational plans with regards to existing or new set-ups
Assisting the Deputy General Manager to implement strategies and action plans to achieve the company goals and objectives
Providing influence and direction in the day-to-day operations in areas of Customer Service awareness, cash management and control, maintenance and housekeeping, staff moral and discipline, administration and loss prevention.
Managing male and female staff accommodation and ensuring everything is in order and rules are strictly adhered to.
