Job Description

Job Responsibility Managing employees and overseeing the daily operations of the store. Inspect incoming shipments of produce for quality, freshness, and adherence to standards. Monitoring and managing the stock inventory of fruits, vegetables, and other produce items which includes packing, weighing and rotating stocks. Dispose of all outdated and spoiled produce, which is no longer suitable for sale. Work with Store Manager on evaluation and overall supervision of department personnel. Manage department inventory control to maintain proper stock level so that there are not out of stock and over-stock products. Ensure the produce items compliance with health and safety regulations. Monitor and manage the budget for the produce department. Ensure all the respective displays are properly stocked and organized. This includes ensuring the proper signage, right price and promotions are on display. Ensuring the store and stockroom remain clean, organized and in compliance with the safety regulations. Handling customer queries, engaging with product information and assisting in various tasks such as weighing produce. Supporting the activation of marketing activations. Supporting e-commerce purchases by packing based on the orders. Job Requirements Minimum level of education is SPM 4+ years of experience in a produce department or similar role Experience in managing a team Strong knowledge of fresh produce Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and multitask Attention to detail Customer service-oriented Job Benifits Maternity leave Opportunities for promotion Professional development
