This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone with a strong passion for hospitality, team development, marketing, and achieving operational excellence. You will be responsible for managing staff (including foreign workers), ensuring smooth operations, achieving outlet performance targets, and maintaining high service standards.
Oversee and manage daily operations across all outlets, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality service
Implement and enforce operational SOPs, hygiene, and food safety standards
Plan and manage staff schedules, including shift rotations and leave planning
Monitor inventory levels, handle stock orders, and control food and material wastage
Resolve operational issues quickly to maintain service standards and customer satisfaction
Team Leadership
Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of local and foreign workers across outlets
Conduct hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training for all front-of-house and kitchen staff
Set clear performance goals and KPIs for team members and ensure they are met
Handle team discipline, conflict resolution, and build a strong, cooperative work culture
Communicate company vision and encourage team growth within the organization
Customer Experience & Service
Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered consistently
Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally and promptly
Monitor and respond to online reviews or feedback to protect brand reputation
Sales, Marketing & Targets
Drive outlet sales by implementing promotions, upselling strategies, and in-house marketing activities
Collaborate with the marketing team or independently run local marketing campaigns
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and ensure outlet and staff goals are achieved
Track outlet performance metrics and prepare performance reports for management
Reporting & Coordination
Prepare daily reports including sales, staffing, and inventory
Liaise with the Account Manager for budget tracking, purchasing, and petty cash control
Ensure timely and complete reporting of all outlet operations to business owners.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Business, or F&B Management
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar managerial role within F&B
Proven ability to manage and lead a team of mixed local and foreign staff
Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Goal-oriented with experience in setting and achieving team and outlet targets
Familiar with marketing and promotional activities to boost outlet visibility and sales
Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English
Able to multitask, prioritize, and complete tasks independently with minimal supervision
