Job Details

Position: Restaurant Manager
Salary: RM2,800 - RM3,000
Working Hours:

10:00 AM - 6:30 PM 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM (shift-based)*

Working Days: 6 days a week (1 rest day -- to be discussed with manager)
Location: 18, Jalan Perdana 1, Pusat Perniagaan Perdana, 08000 Sungai Petani, Kedah

We are seeking a responsible, organised, and hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations for our client's outlet in Sungai Petani.
In this role, you will be managing staff performance, ensuring smooth restaurant operations, maintaining customer satisfaction, and overseeing inventory and financial reporting.

This position is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, good problem-solving abilities, and experience in F&B operations.

Key Responsibilities

1) Hire, train, and supervise restaurant employees to ensure high-quality service.
2) Create and manage staff schedules to maintain sufficient manpower throughout the day.
3) Monitor stock levels for food, supplies, and equipment; forecast needs and oversee ordering when required.
4) Manage budgets and implement cost-control strategies to reduce unnecessary expenses.
5) Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
6) Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
7) Maintain consistent operating standards across all staff and daily operations.
8) Prepare and report on financial performance, inventory updates, and manpower matters.

Requirements

1) Experience in restaurant or F&B management is highly preferred.
2) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle operational challenges.
3) Good understanding of stock control, scheduling, and cost management.
4) Able to work shift hours and 6-day work week.
