Job Description




The Supervisor will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations at

Ministry of Crab (MOC) Kuala Lumpur

. This role is crucial in ensuring exceptional service standards, smooth shifts, and team coordination, especially in a fine dining environment. The Supervisor will be responsible for managing FOH staff during shifts, assisting with inventory management, and maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:




Shift Management & Team Supervision




Oversee FOH staff during assigned shifts, ensuring all team members meet MOC's service standards. Support in scheduling and delegating task, ensuring optimal staffing levels and efficient workflow. Train new FOH team members in customer service, MOC brand values, and restaurant protocol. Assist the Restaurant Manager in conducting regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.

Guest Relation & Service Quality




Greet and engage with guests, addressing inquiries and ensuring a personalized dining experience. Resolve guest issues or complaints promptly to maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction. Monitor service flow, ensuring consistency and attention to detail across all tables.

Operational Support




Assist with opening and closing duties, including preparation of FOH areas and ensuring all section are ready for service. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the restaurant. Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines, including food safety and sanitation practices.

Inventory & Supply Management




Assist in monitoring stock levels for FOH and the bar, coordinating with the Restaurant Manager to maintain adequate supplies. Conduct inventory checks and maintain record of supplies, reducing waste and control cost. Liaise with the bar and kitchen staff to ensure alignment on daily specials, menu changes, and available stock.

Financial & Administrative Support




Assist in cash handling, processing transactions, and managing the POS system during shift. Help the Restaurant Manager in preparing daily sales reports and updating shift summaries. Monitor and document shift-related issues to ensure continuous improvement.

Job Requirements




Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting. Strong understanding of FOH operations, guest service, and dining etiquette. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead by example. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to multitask effectively. Knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and cash handling procedure. Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, as per restaurant operating hours.
