Job Description

This role provides essential administrative and operational support to restaurant operations, collaborating with corporate functions (supply chain, IT, marketing, HR, finance) and Operations GMs.

Key responsibilities include enhancing operational efficiency, performance, and customer experience while driving sustainable growth. The position requires hands-on leadership, strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to optimize inventory, control costs, and support digital transformation or new systems.

Key Responsibilities



Operations Oversight and Store Performance:

Observe operations, processes and review bottlenecks, partnering Operations GMs to suggest and implement improvements. Provide guidance and support to store teams, partnering with Field HR and Training to drive high-performing, efficient store operations. Work closely with Corporate/HQ support and shared services to secure approvals on new improvements, budgets and processes.
Business & Financial Excellence:

Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and internal controls to ensure operational efficiency and cost optimization. Monitor and control cost of sales, and relevant ratios and KPIs ensuring profitability targets are met. Drive analysis of performance metrics (yield, cost, etc) by analyzing store-level data and providing actionable insights. Set and monitor KPIs to track store performance, operational efficiency, and financial health
Inventory & Stock Monitoring:

Oversee stock levels, inventory accuracy, and replenishment processes to reduce waste and improve profitability. Implement best practices for inventory optimization, stock control, and demand forecasting.
Process Improvement:

Identify operational inefficiencies and implement structured, standardized processes across stores and teams. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and enhance productivity.
Digital Transformation & Systems Improvement:

Recommend new systems, digital tools, and automation solutions to enhance operations, inventory management, and reporting. Partner with IT and operations to implement digital solutions that improve efficiency and decision-making. Customer & Marketing Alignment: Collaborate with marketing to ensure smooth product launches and campaigns. Provide operational insights to ensure marketing strategies are aligned with store capabilities. Drive customer-centric strategies to enhance the in-store experience and satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Act as a bridge between finance, operations, and marketing, ensuring seamless execution of business strategies. Communicate operational and financial insights to enable informed decision-making across teams.

Key Requirements



Proven Experience:

At least 10 years of hands-on experience in operations and financial management, preferably in retail, hospitality, or food service. Demonstrated success in driving process improvements, store efficiency, and measurable business outcomes.
Operational & Strategic Expertise:

Strong knowledge of store operations, inventory management, stock monitoring, and cost of sales control. Expertise in implementing structured processes, improving efficiency, and optimizing performance.
Hands-On Leadership:

Comfortable being on-site, directly engaging with teams, solving operational challenges, and driving results.
Digital & Analytical Mindset:

Ability to identify opportunities for digital transformation, suggest new systems, and implement solutions for better operational and financial outcomes. Proficient in data analysis and KPI tracking to drive informed decisions. Customer & Results-Focused: Understands the link between operations, financial performance, and customer satisfaction. Results-oriented with a proven track record of achieving measurable operational and financial improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication:

Strong ability to work across teams, translate insights into actionable plans, and drive alignment. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Self-Starter & Problem Solver: Thrives under pressure, takes initiative, and delivers impactful results with precision and accountability. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM180,000.00 - RM216,000.00 per year
