Position Summary

The Retail Assistant is responsible for supporting the daily operations of Fujiyama Retail outlets. The role involves assisting customers, managing stock display, ensuring product accuracy, and maintaining store cleanliness in line with the company's standards and brand image.

Key Responsibilities

A. Customer Service

Greet and attend to customers professionally. Provide information on product features, promotions, and pricing. Handle customer feedback and escalate issues to the Supervisor when necessary.

B. Sales & Cashiering

Support sales activities to meet outlet targets. Operate POS system for billing and transactions accurately. Ensure all cash and sales reports are handled according to procedures.

C. Stock Management

Assist in receiving, checking, and arranging incoming stocks. Monitor stock levels and ensure items are replenished promptly. Report any discrepancies, damages, or missing items immediately.

D. Store Presentation

Arrange products neatly and ensure proper labeling and tagging. Maintain visual merchandising standards consistent with Fujiyama branding. Keep the sales floor, fitting room, and backroom clean and organized.

E. General Duties

Assist in opening and closing procedures of the outlet. Participate in promotional activities and periodic stock take. Comply with all company policies, including safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements

Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification. Prior experience in retail, apparel, or customer service preferred. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work on weekends, public holidays, and shift schedules. Physically fit and able to handle light stock movement.
