Job Description
- Willingness to work weekends, afternoon shifts, public holidays, and during festive seasons.
- Able to communicate in English and BM.
- Comfortable handling various animals, including cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, reptiles, insects, and fish.
- Ability to handle animals with care, understanding that they may bite if frightened or anxious.
- Willingness to clean dirty and smelly cages.
- Capability to lift and carry heavy items, such as cages and sacks of food.
- Uniform and headgear will be provided and must be worn during working hours.
- Feed and exercise the animals as required.
- Clean and maintain animal cages, the sales area, and the backroom.
- Ensure that the temperature and conditions are optimal for the animals.
- Handle cats, dogs, and other animals for customer interactions.
- Serve customers, assist with purchases, and process payments (cashiering).
- Advise customers on how to care for the animals they buy.
- Promote and sell pet care products.
- Receive, unpack, and stock merchandise.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shop.
- Conduct live hosting and create content for the department\'s social media platforms.
