Job Description

Our client is the fastest-growing Korean convenience store chain and they are looking for an Assistant Manager/Manager Retail Development for their continuous expansion plans here in the Klang Valley.

Responsibilities:

• Identify new growth areas, analyze and recommend potential sites for rental for store expansion and growth (providing information on area population, demographics, competitors, foot traffic etc.)
• Negotiate deals and tenancy terms with landlords in the best interest of the company
• To negotiate terms and conditions for identified locations and prepare Tenancy Administrative documentation.
• To coordinate with Fit Out on store designs and submissions.
• To assist and liaise with relevant authorities on required licenses and applications, ie. Business License, Stamping of Tenancy Agreements etc.
• Any other related duties assigned by the Management from time to time.
• Keep track of renewal and administrative work related to leases.
• Ensuring store opening schedule timelines are met

Requirements:

• At least 6 years experience in handling real estate deal-making, asset management in retail or food & beverage industry.
• Experience in leasing would be an added advantage.
• Strong network of real estate agencies.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced and changing environment, and can communicate and write effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Applicants must have valid driving license and own transport

Remuneration

RM 6,000 - 10,000
