Role purpose

Aesop Internship Program offers students an opportunity to be immersed in meaningful learning experiences in retail industry. The internship aims to provide students with valuable insight to the inner-workings of Aesop Signature Stores and exposure to real world settings, which can benefit in an individual\xe2\x80\x99s future endeavours. The internship program will provide individuals with structured tasks, coupled with appropriate supervision, evaluation and feedback.

Interns will work with our retail team to learn how to:

• Provide consultation by prescribing the right products to new and existing customers
• Communicate Aesop philosophy to our customers
• Ensure the highest level of service and explanation is provided to customers.
• Ensure every aspect of the customer\xe2\x80\x99s experience is positive and informative.
• Maintain inventory levels, and conduct weekly and monthly stock count

Highlights of Aesop Internship Program

Internship attachment to one of Aesop Signature Store in Malaysia to understand about retail operations and management. Depending on the length of internship, there may also be an opportunity to be attached in office for a hybrid internship. Opportunity to participate two workshops to understand how the backend retail operation and management. Opportunity to prepare a business presentation to exchange observation and feedback with senior leadership team at the end of the internship program.

Duration and Working Hours

• 4 to 6months internship period is preferred (ideally October or November commencement)
• 5 days per week based on duty roster (shift based) arranged by Store Manager (including weekend and public holidays)
