Job Description
- Willingness to work weekends, afternoon shifts, public holidays, and festive seasons.
- Able to communicate effectively in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, knowing Mandarin is a plus.
- Comfortable handling a wide variety of animals, including dogs and ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Willingness to clean cages and handle unpleasant tasks, including dirty and smelly environments.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items such as cages and sacks of food.
- Engage with customers, assist with purchases, and handle payments (cashiering).
- Actively promote and sell pet care products to meet sales targets.
- Assist in customer interactions with cats, dogs, and other animals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, including the sales area, backroom, and animal cages.
- Feed, exercise, and handle animals such as cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, reptiles, insects, and fish.
- Monitor animal welfare, ensuring optimal temperature and living conditions.
- Unpack and stock merchandise as required.
