Job Overview:



The Store Supervisor plays a key role in supporting the Store Manager to ensure smooth store operations, exceptional customer service, and achievement of sales targets. This includes supervising staff, managing stock, maintaining merchandising standards, and ensuring compliance with Matsumoto Kiyoshi's brand and operational guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Store Operations Management



- Oversee daily store activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

- Handle store opening and closing procedures according to company standards.

- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and compliant with visual merchandising guidelines.

2. Sales & Customer Service



- Drive sales performance by motivating the team and implementing selling strategies.

- Provide excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally.

- Monitor sales figures and identify opportunities to improve performance.

3. Staff Supervision & Training



- Supervise and guide store staff, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure sufficient manpower.

- Support onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching to enhance product knowledge and service quality.

4. Stock & Merchandising Management



- Monitor stock levels, coordinate replenishment, and manage product displays.

- Conduct regular stock checks to minimize loss, damage, or theft.

- Maintain product presentation according to Matsumoto Kiyoshi's merchandising standards.

5. Reporting & Administration



- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational and sales reports.

- Assist with cash handling and ensure compliance with financial policies.

- Report operational issues and provide improvement suggestions to management.

6. Other Duties



- Support store promotions, campaigns, and new store openings.

- Liaise with other stores and departments when necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications:



-Minimum SPM / Diploma; Bachelor's degree is an advantage.

-At least 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.

-Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

-Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to handle complaints professionally.

-Familiarity with visual merchandising and stock management.

-Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and POS systems.

-Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

-Japanese language ability is an advantage but not required.

Preferred



-Experience with Japanese retail brands or health & beauty category

-Familiarity with POS systems and retail reporting tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
