Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Supervisor to join our team and assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store. As a Retail Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the store, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of retail associates.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and guide a team of retail associates, including assigning tasks, providing training, and monitoring performance. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and motivation among the team members. Set performance goals and targets for the team and provide regular feedback to encourage growth and development. Ensure exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, addressing their inquiries, and resolving any issues or complaints in a timely manner. Train and educate the team on delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. Maintain a thorough knowledge of the products and services offered in the store to effectively assist customers and make appropriate recommendations. Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, and visual merchandising. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the inventory team to ensure adequate product availability and minimize stock discrepancies. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, backroom, and storage areas, adhering to health and safety standards. Drive sales and achieve sales targets by monitoring and analyzing sales figures, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing sales strategies. Assist in conducting regular product knowledge sessions for the team to enhance their sales techniques and product awareness. Analyze sales trends, customer preferences, and market competition to make informed recommendations on pricing, promotions, and product assortment. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. Uphold security measures to prevent theft, fraud, and loss while maintaining a safe working environment for employees and customers. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulations related to retail operations.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certification is a plus. Proven experience as a Retail Supervisor or similar role, preferably in a retail environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Sound knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and inventory management. Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail software. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
