Our Client is a Multinational Company and a top leader in its respective industry. Being a public listed MNC with over billions of revenues, they invest massive resources into their staff training programme to develop their people from the ground. They are currently looking for the role of Revenue Accountant / Revenue Accounting Analyst

The Revenue Accountant has responsibility for the financial control of revenue responsibilities across SEA Countries.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the monthly revenue close cycle to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting
• Review of large and complex contracts in accordance with IFRS15, and working with the Group Revenue team on areas of accounting complexity
• Review and approves new subscription contracts and journal entries booking in Oracle
• Review of revenue in accordance with the master chart of accounts and dimensional structure of the enlarged Group
• Review of contract balances (contract assets, liabilities and debtors), ensuring that balances are accurate and they represent true picture and they unwind in accordance with forecast and IFRS 15 requirements
• Develop and document revenue processes and controls, identify opportunities for improvement
• Reconciliation between Salesforce and ledgers (FDW) for deals closed and revenue recognised
• Business partnering with Sales function and preparation of Revenue forecast/ budgeting
• Analytical review of contract balances and revenue, providing analysis as required to Group
• Ensuring compliance with the Group\'s internal control framework, and enhancing those controls where necessary with reference to revenue

Main Requirements

• MINIMUM of 3 years relevant working experience, with exposure in revenue accounting / IFRS 15 being advantageous
• Degree in Finance & Accounting/Commerce or equivalent with professional qualifications such as ICAEW/ACCA/CPA/MIA will be highly advantageous
• Great communication skills to liaise with stakeholders across multiple countries
• Able to work well in a fast paced MNC environment
