Job Description

Job Responsibilities



Revenue Management Strategy & Execution



Develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies to maximize room revenue, market share, and profitability across all segments. Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly analysis of business performance, market trends, competitor rates and booking patterns. Optimize room inventory and pricing across all distribution channels: brand website, OTAs, GDS, call center, and direct. Manage demand forecasting for various timeframes, influencing rate positioning and yielding decisions accordingly. Lead monthly Revenue Strategy Meetings with key department heads (Sales, Front Office, Marketing, Finance). Liaise with Sales on group quotations and displacement analysis to evaluate the impact of group business on transient revenue.

Distribution & System Management



Oversee daily rate and inventory loading in systems, and OTA extranets. Ensure rate parity and consistency across all public channels and booking systems. Identify opportunities for new partnerships, third-party platforms, and promotional channels. Monitor website performance and collaborate with eCommerce or Marketing to enhance direct bookings. Manage system integrations and updates in coordination with IT and vendors.

Central Reservations Office Management



Supervise the Central Reservation team, ensuring adherence to SOPs, high service standards, and strong conversion performance. Set clear KPIs for agents (e.g., call conversion rate, upsell success, response time) and conduct regular performance evaluations. Ensure all reservation procedures align with brand standards and guest data protection policies Provide regular training and development to enhance team knowledge on systems, upselling, cross-selling, and customer handling skills. Manage group blocks, allotments, stop-sell dates, and ensure contract terms are correctly reflected in systems.

Forecasting, Budgeting & Reporting



Prepare and submit accurate forecasts, budget inputs, and performance reports to senior leadership. Analyze pickup trends, pace reports, and source market data to make proactive business recommendations. Work closely with Finance and Sales to ensure alignment between pricing strategies and commercial goals. Present data insights in a clear, visual, and actionable manner during weekly and monthly leadership meetings.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
