BAT DIGITAL BUSINESS SERVICE IS LOOKING FOR A REWARDS AND BENEFIT TEAM LEAD SENIORITY LEVEL: Management FUNCTION: Human Resources LOCATION: Sunway Geo Tower, Bandar Sunway ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES The role is accountable for leading, developing and delivering an efficient and effective Customer focussed Reward & Benefits Specialist team Reports To: Regional Head of GBS HR Reporting Level: Individual Contributor Geographic Scope: APMEA WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR Ensures the effective and efficient delivery of specialist services in line with agreed KPIs and SLAs Leads and develops a team of Reward & Benefit Specialists that are competent in the processing and administration of specialist services and are continually developed to achieve a higher performing service offering Manages all people management activities for a team of Reward & Benefit Specialists, ensuring effective on-boarding, performance management, development and adherence to policies and processes to meet the desired levels of service Has deep specialist knowledge of Reward & Benefits service delivery and compliance issues in order to act as a point of escalation for Specialists with complex queries Prioritises the workload and requests for Reward & Benefit Specialists Ensures collaborative working environment in team to support knowledge sharing and good practice and to ensure the effective balance of team capacity, capabilities and service Delivers the day to day management of the operational team budget and manages the specialist team within these remits Identifies and mitigates risk for Reward & Benefit services aligned to HRSS governance structures and internal audit practices Ensures that Reward & Benefit processes and standards are maintained and proactively identifies continuous improvement opportunities to drive service improvement Manages relevant HR vendors related to specialism and oversees the execution of all administration related to the service provider relationship in line with agreed performance metrics Coaches and provides feedback and training to upskill the Reward & Benefits Specialist population ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Minimum degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent. Proven working at least 3 years of experience as a Reward and Benefits specialist Good understanding in HR practices and compensation cycle management Strong organizational skills and ability to handle numerous tasks simultaneously while prioritizing intelligently and meeting deadlines Must demonstrate the ability to perform work independently and demonstrate solid organizational and attention to detail skills Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and good analytical skills. Good Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel Experiences with Success Factor is an added advantage Strong communication, presentation, workload prioritization skills and commercial acumen Able to guide and mentor a team of reporting analysts Familiar with various types of incentives and benefits Identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes Able to translate data analytics into commercial insights WE ARE BAT At BAT we are committed to our Purpose of creating A Better Tomorrow.
