Risk & Compliance Executive - Chinese (Mandarin) Speaking - Remote

We are now searching for a Risk & Compliance Executive to support Global Risk & Compliance department in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Ambu Corporate Business Ethics & Compliance Management System and Programs, especially by performing administrative tasks in relation to various processes, projects and initiatives. It means that you will work closely with our team, but also with other corporate functions and local stakeholders to provide support in relations to various projects and processes.
As Risk & Compliance Executive you will report directly to Global Risk & Compliance department and will be part of the Malaysian organization. The position as Risk & Compliance Executive is based at Ambu\xe2\x80\x99s office in Penang, Malaysia (currently remote work from home).
As Risk & Compliance Executive Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Provide support and assist Global Risk & Compliance department.
• Create internal reports and analyses for Sustainability and Global Risk & Compliance department, management and other internal stakeholders.
• Support the Risk & Compliance Department in building assessment tools and compliance assurance systems for business support, training, communication and risk mitigation to facilitate compliance with current and future laws, rules and regulations internationally.
• Assist on developing Ambu\xe2\x80\x99s annual and targeted compliance-related educational and training programs, including drafting training material, ensuring ability to track completion rate in internal systems and preparing various reports.
• Support drafting policies, procedures and other written guidelines.
• Draft responses to various inquiries received from internal and external stakeholders in line with Risk & Compliance procedures, policies, guidelines and other laws and regulations.
• Follow up with internal and external stakeholders on completion of Risk & Compliance initiative.
• Administer engagements, analyze information collected through public and commercial databases, preparing and reviewing reports, conduct research of companies, individuals by using a wide array of sources: public databases, commercial and proprietary databases, and the internet (Third Party Due Diligence review).
• Administer, register and store various contracts in internal systems.
• Analyze processes and find possibilities for optimization and improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or a Master\xe2\x80\x99s in Law, Business Administration, Economics, Foreign Policy, Business Management, Auditing or an equivalent legal qualification related discipline.
• The previous work experience in a compliance, legal, auditing, preferably in the global medical device, pharmaceutical industries is a plus.
• Have good communication skills, since we\xe2\x80\x99re a team with strong interface and networking behaviour, and clear and consistent communication with stakeholders is crucial.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team, with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to take over responsibilities as solution finder.
• Ability to work independently, being proactive, and a fast learner.
• Highly motivated and detail-oriented with great organizational skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare law, medical device regulations and industry codes (transparency, anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws, the MedTech Code) could be an advantage .
• Knowledge of due diligence requirements and processes, including reviewing due diligence screening reports and adverse media monitoring hits are a plus.
• Excellent knowledge about Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Excellent proficiency in English (both written and spoken, at least C1 level). A further language is not required, but could be an advantage.
