As part of the risk management team, you will assist the team on the firm\xe2\x80\x99s ethical and risk matters which includes but not limited to business, financial and security. Key Roles & Responsibilities: New Client Onboarding and Continuance Assessment - Perform independence and conflict checks for new clients - Perform KYC checks for new clients and complete AML assessment - Mitigation and Resolution of any issues identified during AML assessment - Review of acceptance and continuance assessment documents - Maintain higher risk client list Advisory and training - Provide advice to engagement teams on matters pertaining to onboarding and continuance process, including KYC checks - Update firm\xe2\x80\x99s policy document according to regulatory changes - Prepare training materials for new joiners and annual training on acceptance & continuance procedures General Compliance - Facilitating and carry out testing to ensure compliance to firm\xe2\x80\x99s policies - Preparation of information for the reporting to the group and or professional bodies Client and engagement data maintenance - Review data error reports from the conflict check system - Work with various business units to resolve data errors in the system - Prepare regular reports for reporting to leadership Other ad hoc projects as and may be assigned Requirements: - Degree in Accountancy, Business or relevant discipline - Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an international public accounting firm or bank - Keen interest in the international development of the risk management profession - Strong understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, audit standards and accounting principles - Possess good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills If you are searching for a challenging and rewarding career with attractive benefits and training opportunities, please click the "Apply Button" now.
