  • Previous experience in cash handling and / or customer service preferred.
  • Knowledge of POS systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Speak & Written Mandarin and spoken & written English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Summary:

He or She is responsible for efficiently and accurately handling customer transactions at the cash register. This position plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service by processing payments, answering customer inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized cashier station. He or she must also collaborate with other front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Customer Service:

Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.

Answer customer questions about menu items, pricing, and promotions.

Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate to a manager when necessary.

Handle daily online reservation and Facebook messanger enquiries.

Handles membership and customer loyalty program including points redemption

Work with marketing team and offsite work maybe required.

Payment Processing:
  • Accurately place customer orders using the POS system.
  • Accept cash, credit card, and ewallet payments.
  • Provide customers with receipts and correct change.
  • Ensure all transactions are processed swiftly and accurately.
Cash Handling:
  • Safely handle cash and follow cash handling procedures.
  • Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Report any discrepancies or shortages to the Restaurant Manager.
Order Accuracy:
  • Verify that customer orders are correct before processing payments.
Cleanliness and Organization:
  • Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
  • Restock supplies such as receipt paper, napkins, and utensils as needed.
  • Keep the area free of clutter and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.
Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure a smooth flow of orders and customer service.
  • Assist with bussing tables or other front-of-house tasks during busy periods.
Compliance:
  • Adhere to all restaurant policies, including hygiene, dress code, and safety guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with menu changes and promotions.

Manfaat
  • Basic range from RM 2,600 to 3,200 Basic + Sales Incentive + Meal Allowance.
  • Working Location: The Garden and Sunway Pyramid.
  • Working hour: 9 hours including 1 hour break (Follow mall operation hour), 5 days with rotational offday.
