Job Description

Rollingstock Management Control Centre (RMCC) and related departments in responding to LRMS (Locomotive Remote Monitoring System) alerts or direct calls from the Train Control Command Centre (TCCC) KTMB regarding diesel locomotive and wagon failures or incidents. The aim is to ensure a swift, coordinated, and effective response to minimize operational disruptions and ensure safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Will be the main point person for the RMCC and other teams, responding to alerts from the Locomotive Remote Monitoring System (LRMS) Receive calls from the Train Control Command Centre (TCCC) Pass information on the maintenance and engineering teams The goal is to sort things out fast, keep things running smoothly. Monitoring locomotive and wagon performance issues. Documentation: Prepare and update technical documentation, reports, and maintenance plans. Create and manage schedules for routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on a daily, monthly, and annual basis. Log all faults and failures reported by train operators or automated systems. Coordination: Act as a central point of contact, dispatching maintenance staff to address issues and ensuring timely completion of work.

Experience

Computer literate and report writing (Google sheets preferred) Good with Google Workspace. Experience using ERP systems, work order management, customer service tickets. (Odoo preferred) Some technical smarts in mechanical and electrical engineering would be preferred, especially if you know about automotive, marine or rolling stock.

Organizational skills: The capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Good timekeeping Speak Malay and English well. Available for shift work and weekends (3 shifts)

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
