Job Description

To build a team of formulators in delivering a complex portfolio of projects. Work with other departments to set agreed priorities and action plans that support the wider business objectives. As ROA customer development Segment leader, you will be critical to increase growth by ensuring that the Customer Development organization is aligned to support the roll-out of new products to customers and support the conversion of customers to PPG products. By using the intake process and customer cost-to-serve information, the team\xe2\x80\x99s efforts can be focused on the most impactful Type 4-7 technical programs for the business. You will ensure that best practices in color matching are followed to accomplish the delivery of the projects on time with a high success rate, while also ensuring improved effectiveness and efficiency in how these programs are accomplished year-over-year.

Main Responsibilities

Connect the country site technical team members with commercial team & explain new projects to site technical team and ensure technical support & deliverables are executed & completed as per the target timeline.

To build connection at regional & global level to ease the product search & re-apply activities.

Maintained good communication skills to strengthen work relationships within technical and commercial team member and ensure smooth communication & project execution.

Communicate project update in timely basis and delegate tasks to different team members

To learn to communicate the issue and follow up on issues that need escalation to senior management for critical decision making

To drive growth strategy by working with commercial team to improve the targeting products and services to specific segments

Trouble Shooting - Render technical support for troubleshooting any problems that occur within the segment.

To facilitate the decision-making process

A technical or scientific university degree or alternatively a Bachelor or Master degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering or related Technical field

10+ year relevant experience, 3+ years in a leadership role

Fluent English/ Mandarin, both oral and written
