  • Industrial & Employee Relations:
Manage employee relations and engagement with senior leadership while maintaining harmonious industrial relations to support business strategy and goals. Ensure compliance with local employment and industrial rules and regulations. * Organization Development:Shape the organization for the future by understanding key business challenges and strategic objectives and working closely with business unit leaders and the Country Management Team to determine trends and recommend possible people and organizational solutions. * Leadership Development:Coach and develop site leadership team\'s skills, facilitate teamwork, and develop leadership bench strength. Drive and utilise Talent Management and Succession Planning processes to ensure the right people are prepared for the right roles at the right time. * Budgets:Develop and adhere to budgets in line with the company\'s guidance. * Human Relations:Communicate with all employees regarding policies and practices, benefit and compensation programs, contract interpretation, and problem resolution. Establish strong working relationships across the organization at all levels and lead the creation of a professional, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture. * Staffing:Oversees the Talent Acquisition process for the site to develop a diverse workforce within budget constraints. Work with site leadership teams to create and periodically review and revise succession plans. * Salary Administration:Manage the compensation system and structure, administer ASR and bonus processes, and work with the Payroll Specialist. * Benefits:Oversee the administration of benefits communication, including benchmark and update. * Labor Relations:Facilitate employee communication and focus group meetings, manage grievance administration, investigations, contract interpretation, compliance, and external labor relations. Represent the company for labor-related matters as needed. * Training & Development:Lead the development of learning practices that enhance operations and individual talents of associates. Set an annual training plan and ensure successful orientation of new hires. * Legal Updates & Compliance Issues:Key contact for all legal issues regarding employment. Lead disciplinary and EEO related investigations, maintain compliance, and answer legal charges. * Plant Communication Coordination:Plan and facilitate communication throughout the facility, including plant-wide meeting functions, leadership meetings, and welfare committee meetings.Great remuneration and rewards culture|Strong career succession opportunities
  • Bachelor\'s degree is required for the position
  • 8-10 years of experience as an HR Business Partner/Manager/Generalist, with preference for experience in industrial relations in a unionized environment
  • Willingness to grow professional career into future senior roles
  • Previous experience in managing others strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to speak up when necessary
  • Attention to detail, quality, and follow-through is essential, along with strong influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office software is required
  • Knowledge of employment law and its applications is necessary
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Core competencies include leadership, communication skills (verbal, public speaking, facilitation, and written), organisational strategy, conflict resolution, interpersonal skills, and judgement skills
  • Must be able to prioritise and make decisions, and have strong reading and comprehension skills for contract and legal interpretation
