WHERE YOU FIT IN
You will play a significant role in Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) by ensuring the Technology and Engineering elements for Rotating Equipment are accounted for in the various processes used to ensure safety and integrity of our asset. You will capitalize on your technical knowledge, experience, AMS processes and integration skills to enable the SMEP objectives. You will generate value and protect the asset by balancing out increased production while weighing out risks. You are always aware of the facility\xe2\x80\x99s capacity and limitations, and by contributing to the Natural Team, you enable the success of the Natural team and SMEP.
THE TEAM
You will be a member of the Technical Authority, Governance and Engineering Natural Team (NT). Your main responsibilities are around technical assurance of planned activities and Management of Change (MOCs). Team members of this group are required to have a deep knowlevdge of their disciplines as they are the gatekeepers for managing threats and opportunities from a technical do ability and risk standpoint. They also focus on longer term strategic initiative that benefit the asset in the long run. You may be required to support the Hub NT and other NT on a case-by-case basis. Delivery of these objectives are via the Asset Management System (AMS) process: Manage Threats and Opportunities (MTO) and Manage Equipment Care (MEC)
THE ROLE
The Rotating Equipment Engineer is to provide machinery technical support to the production facilities that includes pumps, gas turbines, compressors, gearboxes, fans/blowers, diesel engines etc. The Rotating Equipment Engineer also focuses on long-term objectives such as eliminating repeat failures, forecasting Capital needs, and identifying improvement opportunities.
