Job description

• To lead a team of young and dynamic ROV Technicians to perform maintenance and ROV related repair works in our workshop
• To be the technical authority for the ROV systems that are offshore working for our Clients
• To provide technical support to our ROV teams offshore
• To be present onboard to plan and oversee the maintenance of the ROVs
• Propose improvements and purchases for the ROV systems
• Focal point for the uptime of the ROVs
• Provide technical support to the Marketing and Commercial team during project enquiries
• Feasibility study and selection of suitable ROVs for the job
• Oversee new-build ROV operations and be the key driver for its successful completion

Job requirements

• Malaysian National Only due to COVID 19 Visa and Permits restrictions
• Has relevant experience within ROV operations and maintenance. Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering will be preferred for the position.
• Strong knowledge & understanding of ROV operation within the Oil & Gas industry and be familiar with ROV subsea technology and tooling (Minimum 5 years with Work Class systems preferred)
• Ability to effectively manage, work and deal with people from multinational background at various level
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and have good organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, to quickly assess and prioritize situations
• English & Malay language is mandatory and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in written form
• Customer Focus - achieving Company, department, and personal goals throughout a strong customer focus
• Good relationship building and team engagement ability
