If you answered yes, please read on! We have a new position available for a Royalty Manager to join the team.This position will support UMPG Malaysia, Singapore & Thailand.Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and distribute accurate half-yearly royalty statements to songwriters and partners
• Prepare and process royalty advances for songwriters and partners
• Prepare and submit monthly income schedule to Global Admin office
• Compile and submit income statements to Global Admin office
• Record royalty cash receipts into royalty processing system
• Reconcile cash receipts with processed royalties
• Ensure correct entry and reporting of multiple revenue streams
• Follow up on any discrepancies in royalty reporting

• Review company debtor list and contact customers to inquire of their payment status
• Liaising with licensing department for the raising of invoices
• Tracking songwriter advances to determine triggers for contractual options and payments
• Identify and release works from Suspense Account
• Identify UMPG works from unidentified listing and incomplete song listing given by CMOs

Experience and Skills:

• Degree or Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, Audit experience would be advantageous
• Min 3 years of work experience in finance or accounting
• Analytical and numbers driven
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy; ability to multi-task
• Strong Excel skills and experience working in copyright databases essential
• Strong in English communication both verbal and written
• Willing to work across time zones to attend monthly meetings with US and Australia
