RTR Manager

Our client is a well-established MNC manufacturer based in JB Town, Johor Bahru.

Industry: Manufacturing/Production (Chemicals)

Working Hour: Monday to Friday (8:15am - 5:45pm)

Effectively manage GL related operations, verify functional reports to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting reports for all the entities in the scope of SSC.

Drive internal and external audits and verify the accuracy of information provided by team members.

Review Financial Accounting reports, reconciliation, variance analysis, etc. process by the team.

Ensure the timely production of IFRS and statutory reports and responsible for corporate financial operation booking for all the entities in the scope of SSC according to the generally accepted accounting principles and fiscal rules

Create, review, and maintain policies and procedures associated with the Record to Report (RTR) and monthly close process including the recommendation for process enhancements to policies and procedures.

Delivers agreed business results in the GL process areas and works within agreed resource and financial plans

Lead the RTR team to minimize error rate by applying excellent attention to detail and a clear understanding of accounting concepts and develop team members to meet business needs effectively, efficiently, and timely.

Responsible for staff training development, coaching and education in collaboration with the internal training team.

Manage and build the relationship with the business counterpart and ensuring effective communication within the business counterpart to address all issues and lead resolution actions

Collaborate with other finance work streams like OTC and PTP to innovate and drive process enhancements, automation, and major system upgrades.

To assume the role of BOA according to the business role defined in the Financial Target Operating Model (FTOM)

Requirements:

• Min. 7 years of relevant working experience in shared service centre or relevant.
• Min. Degree in Accounting level or above.
• Required language - English.
• Proficient in MS Excel and SAP software.
