• Applicant must be willing to work at Pontian, Johor

Tanggungjawab

• To comply with the requirements of the documented quality management system that meets the ISO 9001 standard and ISO 22000 standard
• To investigate any accident, near-miss accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or occupational disease which has happened in place of work
• To assist the employer or the safety and health committee, pursuant to regulation 11 of the Occupational Safety and Health (Safety and Health Committee) Regulations 1996 in organizing and implementing occupational safety and health program at the place of work
• To become secretary to the safety and health committee as specified under sub regulation 6(2) of the Occupational Safety and Health (Safety and Health Committee) Regulation 1996, and perform all functions of a secretary as specified in that Regulations
• To lead the safety and health committee in any inspection of the place of work for the purpose of checking that effectiveness and efficacy of any measures taken in compliance with the Act or any regulations made under the act
• To collect, analyse and maintain statistics on any accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning and occupational disease which have occurred at the place of work
• To carry out any other instruction made by the employer on any matters pertaining to safety and health of the place of work
• To develop, implement and maintain Environment, Safety and Health (ESH) policies, procedures, and programs to ensure organizational compliance to all related acts, regulations, and standard requirements
• To liaise and coordinate on all required activities with government authorities such as DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, JKKP etc. Keep up to date on all statutory Environment, Safety and Health requirements
• To establish and carry out regular emergency drill such as fire drill, scheduled waste spillage, and confined space accident
• To conduct regular audits on all first aid and facilities to ensure regular replenishment, maintenance and inspection are being performed per schedule
• To conduct inspection on workplace and investigation on any incidents, accidents, occupational diseases or poisonings
• To monitor and enhance the overall environmental, occupational safety and health (ESH) performance of the organization
• To provide training or briefing on safety issues and promote safety awareness
• To prepare monthly Safety & Health Reports for submission to Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR)
• To prepare Site Safety and Health Plan (S-Plan) for submission to Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR)
• To prepare Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) for submission to Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR)
• To possess a valid DOSH Green Book License throughout the period of employment
• To perform any other duties set by the company policy, management or his direct superior, which does not include in the above-mentioned descriptions.
