Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Compliance & Regulatory Management

Ensure company operations comply with local safety and health regulations (e.g., DOSH requirements in Malaysia, WSH Act in Singapore). Conduct regular site inspections to identify safety hazards and recommend corrective actions. Prepare and submit legally required documentation, such as safety audit reports and incident investigation reports.

2. Risk Assessment & Control

Conduct workplace Risk Assessments (RA) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA). Develop and oversee implementation of Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs) and emergency response plans.

3. Training & Awareness

Organize and facilitate safety training programs (e.g., fire drills, working at height, chemical handling). Communicate safety policies, procedures, and best practices to employees and management.

4. Incident Investigation & Reporting

Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and occupational illnesses to identify root causes and recommend corrective measures. Maintain incident records and regularly report safety performance to management.

5. Site Supervision & Inspection

Conduct daily/weekly inspections at construction sites, factories, or office areas to ensure use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols. Coordinate safety management of contractors and subcontractors.

6. Environmental & Health Management

Monitor occupational health risks (e.g., noise, dust, chemical exposure). Promote environmental protection initiatives such as waste management and pollution control.

7. Documentation & Record Keeping

Maintain safety-related documentation such as permits, training records, and inspection checklists.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
