Job Description

Minimum 5 years' experience in HSE Field

Possess a valid Safety Site Supervisor Certificate

Possess a valid Occupational Safety and Health Coordinator (OSH-C) Certificate

Assist in the implementation and monitoring of the company's HSE policies and systems on-site.

Conduct daily safety inspections and walkthroughs to identify potential hazards.

Coordinate and conduct Toolbox Talks, Safety Induction, and Safety Briefings for workers and visitors.

Support the issuance and verification of Permit to Work (PTW) and ensure control of high-risk activities.

Record and report any unsafe acts or conditions; follow up on corrective actions.

Participate in incident and accident investigations, root cause analysis, and prepare reports.

Monitor proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce compliance.

Maintain and update safety records, including daily reports, HIRARC, MSDS, and equipment checklists.

Assist in emergency response drills, fire safety checks, and evacuation planning.

Coordinate with contractors, site supervisors, and workers to resolve safety concerns on-site.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in construction or oil & gas projects.

Certified with SHO, NIOSH, or equivalent

Knowledge of HIRARC, JSA, PTW, PPE, LOTO, Confined Space Entry, etc.

Strong communication skills (verbal & written).

Able to work at remote project sites, in shift rotation or extended hours if required.

Good understanding of OSHA, FMA, DOSH, and industry-specific safety regulations.

Basic first aid knowledge.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Team player with attention to detail and high safety awareness.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 18 months

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
