Working location xe2x80x93 Senai, JohorResponsibilities:

• Advise the employer or the person in charge of a place of work on the measures to be taken in the interest of the safety and health of those employed at the workplace.
• Inspect the workplace to determine whether any machinery, plant, equipment, substances, appliances, processes, or types of manual labor used are likely to cause bodily injury or health hazards to anyone working in the workplace.
• Investigate any accidents, near-miss incidents, dangerous occurrences, occupational poisoning, or occupational diseases that occur in the workplace.
• Assist the employer or the safety and health committee (if any) in organizing and implementing an occupational safety and health program at the workplace, in accordance with Regulation 11 of the Occupational Safety and Health (Safety and Health Committee) Regulations 1996 [P.U.(A)616/96].
• Act as the secretary to the safety and health committee (if any), as specified under sub-regulation 6(2) of the Occupational Safety and Health (Safety and Health Committee) Regulations 1996, and perform all the duties of a secretary as outlined in the regulations.
• Assist the safety and health committee in inspecting the workplace to check the effectiveness and efficiency of measures taken to comply with the Act or any regulations made under it.
• Collect, analyze, and maintain statistics on accidents, dangerous occurrences, occupational poisoning, and occupational diseases that have occurred in the workplace.
• Assist any officer appointed by the employer or the person in charge of the workplace on matters relating to the safety and health of the workplace.

Requirements:

• Must possess a degree or diploma in Safety, Health, and Environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Safety, Health, and Environment.
