SAFETY & HEALTH OFFICER Basic Salary : RM 6000 and above Project Site : Alor Setar, Kedah Contract Employment : 3 years Requirements : \xc2\xb7 Candidate must possess a Graduate Diploma/Degree in Safety & Health/Environmental or equivalent. \xc2\xb7 Certified & registered as Safety and Health Officer by Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH). \xc2\xb7 At least 5 years and above working experience in the related fields especially bridge works, earthworks, road works and geotechnical works. \xc2\xb7 Have a valid CIDB card. \xc2\xb7 Stationed full time at site. \xc2\xb7 Able to work under pressure and long hours. \xc2\xb7 Self-motivated and able to work independently. \xc2\xb7 Required language(s) Bahasa Malaysia, English. \xc2\xb7 Preferably local candidates from Alor Setar, Kedah. Task & Responsibilities : \xc2\xb7 To ensure company occupational, safety, health, and environment is in compliance with the International Standards, government regulation, and other requirements. \xc2\xb7 The Safety Officer shall compile and update all related safety and health issues in a monthly report so as to keep track of safety performance indicators. (formulated procedure, SOP, HIRARC, Confined Space, rules regulations on safety & health and etc.) \xc2\xb7 To develop, implement and monitor safety & health program to ensure a safe hazard-free working environment that will also satisfy the regulatory body (DOSH) \xc2\xb7 Lead the safety team to ensure a safe and healthy working environment. \xc2\xb7 Liaise with DOSH to arrange for renewal of registered equipment and to close any observation and findings. \xc2\xb7 Established and implemented standard operating procedures.
