Job Description

Responsibilities:

To advise the employer on measures to be taken in the interests of safety and health of persons employed in the work place. To implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures on construction sites. To conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. To develop and deliver safety training programs for site personnel. To investigate accidents and incidents, and recommend preventive measures. To collaborate with project managers and contractors to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions. To maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions. To monitor the progress of construction projects and ensure compliance with construction safety regulations. To supervise construction workers and subcontractors and educate construction workers on site safety practices. To implement and monitor requirement outlined in the Safety and Health Plan and Emergency Response Plan.
Requirement:

Possess a recognized degree or diploma certificate in any field. Have valid Safety and Health Officer (SHO) competency from DOSH. Have knowledge and experience in construction fields. Able to conduct high quality and detailed Risk Assessment e.g. HIRARC. Able to conduct high quality Incident Reporting and Investigation including the root cause analysis (RCA) and Human Factor Analysis. Have sound knowledge and technical skills on Project EHS Management, Environmental Management, Safe Work Practices program e.g. heavy lifting, working at height, confined space and others. Willing to travel and be relocated. Experience in supervising TNB substation projects is an added advantage.

Pay: RM7,500.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
