Job Description

Our client is an integrated engineering company that offers solutions undertaking the design, development and manufacturing of precision metal and plastic engineering parts, assembly of equipment and machineries. as well as smart factory systems using automation and robotics solutions. They support customers primarily in the semiconductor, electrical & electronics, telecommunications, mechatronics and automotive industries.s

• Advise on the measures to be taken in the interests of the worker's safety and health.
• Conduct inspection to ascertain whether any machinery, plant, equipment, material, appliance, procedure, or type of manual labor used therein is potentially dangerous and capable of injuring workers physically
• Investigate accident, near-missed accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning, or occupational disease and report to DOSH in accordance with OSH Act 2022
• Control and plan all PPE requirements, issuance, training, and record-keeping
• Comply and review all legislatives matters and update latest legal and other compliance accordingly
• Attend audits from authorities i.e. DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, etc
• Lead company ERT and take actions in the event of emergency. E.g. fire, major chemical spillage, floods etc.
• Oversee the safety and well-being of employees, manage accommodation and amenities, and maintain records of accommodation inspections

• Candidates must possess a minimum Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Possession of a Green book is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated, with good interpersonal skills.
• Desire to deliver results and contribute effectively to safety initiatives.
• Knowledge of OSH Act and Regulations
