Job Description

Responsibility:

? To implement HSE programme at any project site / and in accordance with Safety plan.

? To produce a comprehensive, SHE reports after completion of any project (statistical, written report including analytical report).

? To carry out regular site inspection and SHE tasks / responsibilities as per SHE requirements and customer requirements are being properly implemented.

? To advise employers on the measures to be taken in the interests of safety and health.

? To inspect the place of work to determine any hazard liable to cause bodily injury.

? To investigate any accident, near miss, dangerous occurrence, poisoning or disease.

? To assist the employer of the SHE committee in organising and enforcing SHE programme.

? To become the secretary of the SHE committee.

? To coach the safety and health committee in HSE inspections.

? To collect, analyse and maintain accident / incident statistics.

? To carry out any other instruction made by the employer on any matters pertaining to safety and health at the workplace.

? To enforce safety rules and regulations according to safety procedures requirements.

? To ensure all the site workers (Sub-Contractors) have valid Green Card from CIDB / Safety Induction Course Coupon from NIOSH.

? To ensure all the site workers (Sub-Contractors) wearing a proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as Safety Helmet, Goggle, Ear Plug, Respiratory Mask, Body Harness, Reflective Vest, Hand Glove, Safety Shoe and other necessary and required PPE while working for this project.

? To ensure our project site and any opening e.g. trial hole has been properly barricade by our Sub-Contractor.

? To ensure Traffic Control Plan establish by our Sub-Contractors.

? To ensure all Authorized and Competent Person is on-site while working as required e.g. Site Supervisor(s), Engineer(s), Authorized Representative(s), Authorized Gas Tester (AGT), Authorized Entrant/Stand-by Person (AESP), Cable Jointer, Crane/Excavator Operation and etc.

? To issue Safety & Health - Notice Of Improvement to the Sub-Contractors based on findings recorded inside Daily Safety Inspection Checklist.

? To prepare and comply with the legal and other requirement pertaining to Occupational Safety and Health in Malaysia, the latest TNB GRID - HSE Requirement for Contractors and Safety Compliance Audit Guideline (SAFCA).

? To conduct Morning Toolbox Talk on every day.

? To attend safety daily meetings with other external providers and clients prior to HSE matters.

? To adhere to the company's health and safety system

? To protect the interest of the company's in implementing Occupational Safety and Health Management System.

? Complying the requirements of Subsection 29 (2), Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA)and is appointed by occupier/ employer if the total contract price of the project exceeds RM20 million.

? Helps the employer to meet the requirements of OSHA and any Regulations made thereunder and the promotion of safe conduct of work at the place of work

Supporting Tasks

? To implement Company General Rules, Regulation at all times.

? To ensure and monitor all planned activity are carried out efficiently complying with ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015, ISO 45001: 2018 and 5S requirements.
