Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Comply with and communicate the company's EHSMS, policies, EHS objective & planning, procedures, significant environmental aspects/hazards, EHS roles, responsibilities, accountabilities and authorities, obligations, legal and other requirements, and any relevant EHS issues.

2. Take all necessary actions to establish a safe and secure working environment.

3. Maintain and develop, if required, compliance-related policies and procedures based on EHS requirements of site personnel, visitors and contractors for security checks.

4. To provides programs and CTPAT security procedures that ensure a safe workplace including safety orientations, skill training, emergency preparedness, proper job instruction, hazardous material disposal procedures, and the use of protective equipment

5. To implement initiatives to reduce and prevent accidents, occupational illnesses, and exposure to long term health hazards and security risks.

6. To ensure the safety and health standards and practices comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994.

7. Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures for safety and security.

8. Establish a full programme of documented health, safety, security and environment inspections, audits and checks.

9. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2004, CTPAT is added value advantage.

10. To work closely with the local statutory bodies (DOSH, NIOSH, BOMBA, etc.) to ensure compliance and update OSH related issues.

11. To adhere to the company's Code of Conduct, regulations, and standard operating procedures.

12. Responsible for overseeing and managing security operations within the organization.

13. Implementing security policies, supervising security personnel, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and responding to security incidents.

14. Perform strategic planning, risk assessment, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a safe and secure working environment.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health / Environment / Science or its equivalent.

2. Minimum 5 years' experience in OSH related fields.

3. Preferably SHO registered with DOSH (Green Book Holder) and obtained Lead Auditor

certificate.

4. Have knowledge of basic security protocols.
