Job Description

Candicate must possess at least Diploma (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent. Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English Required Skill(s): Good in computer skills (Microsoft Office), Positive attitude and strong communication skills, Ability to multi-tasking, prioritise, manage time efficiently and well organized. Assist in all relevant safety, health and environmental work. Promote safety awareness of active and developing situation for work areas including port operations, warehousing, transportation and construction. Assist and coordinate Safety and Health Committee (SHC) Meeting. Assist in accident investigation and develop detailed reports on root causes, corrective actions, and preventive measures. Maintain and conduct inspection on First Aid Box, Fire Fighting System and Equipment regularly. To manage stock, storage, issuance, usage and monitor on compliance of PPE. Assist in liaising with regulatory authorities and participate in audits and inspections as required. Conduct safety inspection to all work areas in compliance with local acts, regulations and standards and recommend improvements. Assist in develop appropriate training plans with regards to health, safety and environment and conduct awareness training for employees. Coordinate Fire Drill and Alarm Drill periodically. Assist in liaising with regulatory authorities and participate in audits and inspections as required. Maintain proper documentation and regulatory compliance within the organization. Proactively carry out regular site inspections to work sites including warehouses and port operations. To liaise and coordinate subcontractor works on safety & health aspects, including PTW and Hot Work Permit. To monitor and maintain off all safety signage and Safety & Health information board within the company's premises.
