Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and enforce safety compliance on fit-out project sites. Conduct regular site inspections, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and recommend preventive measures. Assist the Project Manager in ensuring all site works comply with landlord regulations and requirements. Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and compliance reports. Provide safety training and awareness programs for site staff and subcontractors. Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers on safety improvements. Promote a culture of safety and ensure work is carried out in a safe, responsible manner.

Requirements:

Diploma or degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in construction or interior fit-out projects. Knowledge of local safety regulations, OSHA standards, and landlord/site compliance requirements. Strong communication, observation, and reporting skills. Able to work independently and proactively. Willing to travel to project sites as required.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
