Job Summary:

The Safety & Security Manager shall be responsible in assisting the Hotel Manager in all matters pertaining to the providing, administering and maintaining of adequate and ensuring effective safety and security of guests, employees, and the hotel assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and oversee strict access control procedures for staff, visitors, and vendors. Ensure that security checkpoints and surveillance systems are operational and regularly inspected. Develop, implementing, monitoring and maintain hotel Safety & Health SOPs and emergency response plans (ERP). Ensure full compliance with OSHA 1994, provides (the legislative framework for the safety, health and welfare among all Malaysian workforces), Fire Services Act, and all relevant health & safety legislation. Managing a team of security personnel and overseeing their training, scheduling, and performance. Conduct routine risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections throughout the hotel premises. Serving as the primary point of contact for all safety and security-related matters, liaising with local authorities as needed.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar safety and security management role within the hospitality industry Thorough understanding of relevant health, safety, and security legislation and industry best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach Proven track record of leading and motivating a team of security personnel Proficient in the use of relevant safety and security management software and technologies

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
